I
f surrender feels hard… you’re not the only one. It goes against everything the world teaches us.

We’re told to take control, to be self-made, to chase our dreams and never stop. So when Jesus says, “Lay it all down and follow Me,” it can feel terrifying.

There are some basic things we consider or wonder

1.What if I miss out?

2.What if He asks me to give up something I love?

3.What if surrender means suffering?

But here’s what I’ve learned (and keep learning): God doesn’t take things from us to punish us. He does it to give us something better.
